In January 2004, eighteen people gathered in Fairbanks to dream, plan and form a Western Mystery School.  Mystery Schools teach the Western path of initiation or spirituality and have been in existence since the beginning of Man. Each century brought its own take on the Mystery Schools but the Tradition has remained the same.  The spiritual truths and principles that were taught in ancient Greece, Egypt and other ancient lands are the same ones being taught today.  We intend to keep that Tradition and make it relevant for the twenty-first century.

After two days of intense discussion and planning the Golden Heart Mystery School was formed.  We are pleased to announce the birthing of a New Spirit, one that we hope will lead us through the times ahead with Wisdom, Understanding and Hope.

However, to make dreams into reality takes a lot of down-to-earth work and we have been working very hard since then.  We have been designing a curriculum that will be used in residential workshops but also can be done via correspondence (which includes the internet.)  This has been a daunting task and there is still much to be done.

Our vision is to have a core group of classes that will serve as a foundation for the advanced trainings.  The core classes will cover the basics for following a spiritual and meaningful life; energy body theory and practice, meditation and shamanic journeying skills, hints and assistance on walking a spiritual path, spiritual ethics, spiritual principles, exploring the concepts of Evil and much more.

Once the core classes have been mastered we will offer advanced Pathwork, the Way of The Mystic and Spiritual Warrior Training.  All three Paths will include periodic initiations into the Mysteries.

Because of the difficult times we are in right now we have perceived the need to immediately produce a group of highly trained Spiritual Warriors to assist the world in restoring and maintaining harmony and balance. We began this advanced training in September 2005 and in the meantime are continuing to develop our core curriculum.
